My Birthday

Thank you all for making my birthday so special!  Spending the day with my sweet class was wonderful!  Thanks to my room moms for my favorite lunch, lunch relief, and this beautiful cake!  It tasted as good as it looked! Thanks for all the cards, emails, and gift, too!

Gatorville

One of the funnest things we do in first grade is Gatorville! The students had just as much fun working as they did shopping!  They loved participating in this hands on economics activity.

Plant Unit

We have begun our plant unit in our classroom.  The students had fun looking inside of a seed to see a tiny root and leaves.  

Fun with 3D Shapes

The students had fun constructing 3D shapes out of marshmallows!  Math is fun!

Spring Fun

Our spring wall display was too cute!  Students wrote fictional narratives about what they would do if they had animal teeth!  Also, we had a blast at our spring party!  Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers for their help and donations!

Nutrition Robots

I loved the nutrition robots the kids made at the end of our Nutrition unit!  They were so cute, and the kids learned a lot about the different food groups.
