International Walk at School Day
This morning our class participated in International Walk at School Day! We researched the country of the Netherlands and made a flag in art. We also talked about safety when walking on a road. We had fun!

All About Me
I put up our first wall display for 2014! The students wrote All About Me stories to get to know each other!

Counting Fun
We had so much fun during math today. We played "Sparkle" to practice counting to 50, and then we cut out spiders with numbers on them and put them in order on a sentence strip. The kids did a great job!

Buddy Reading
We started our first day of Buddy Reading today and it was GREAT!!! This is part of our Daily 5 rotations each day. The kids learned to sit EEKK!!! style (Elbow to elbow, knee to knee). The kids had fun and really enjoyed it!
